Singing together is holy work – our birthright, a homecoming, and medicine for community
We become not only singing bodies, but one singing body, resonating our joy, our love, our grief, and yes, our animal wild – together
You are welcome. In this safe and beautiful space, let us join in a soulful howl for all we love and long for
A blend of vocal improvisation, rhythmic embodiment, natural sound, and wild song

Why we sing
In these times, when staying embodied and connected is more essential than ever, singing together is medicine.
We gather to open our holy hearts and let our voices pour forth… Whether shy or full, raspy or radiant, joy-filled or aching, you are welcome!
A play-filled, prayerful place for those longing to re-naturalize and liberate their voice amidst the healing resonance of shared song. Ariana leads us through practices of vocal improvisation, wild song, soulful expression, and rhythmic embodiment.
From the dreamy to the cathartic, from a whisper to a wail…and everything in between – let’s explore the wild mysteries, healing rivers, and untamed wisdom of our song-souls ༄
If this sings to you, come! Bring your voice – whatever shape it’s in – and let’s meet in the mystery…

About your guide
___
Ariana has been leading group voicework journeys since the early 2000s, weaving together a variety of improvisational forms, including what many call ‘circle singing.’ She is also deeply versed in songs shared across cultures – from folk firesongs to kirtans and Vedic chants.
Her own vocal explorations have led her into music from the Mediterranean, Balkan, and Arab worlds, Peruvian icaros, and study of Raga (Hindustani classical singing). These traditions – each with their own approaches to melody, rhythm, and improvisation – have not only expanded her vocal range and expressive palette, but seeded a deep fluency in spontaneous composition.
Even as she sometimes sings these musics in their pure form, her deepest dedication is to rewilding the voice into its most instinctive and uninhibited expression. Her studies have not confined her but have become fuel for the fire between freedom and form.
It is from this ground that she invites you to explore your own Wild Voice…
Ariana really, really helped me to come into my own vocalization. Her Womensong gatherings were an intimate setting for very creative openings. Back in the days when I could barely manage a squeak, she gave me the self-confidence to go further. I thank her every day for her expertise and assistance.
