Planting Seeds

Insignificant
in most eyes
But the very song of life
The miracle of something
from nothing

Dirt
Soil
Yields majestic abundance
Unfurling fractals
As stunning as any
cosmic or hallucinatory delight

Yields
Soil yields
Bends, sways
under the weight
of exploding seeds
pressing limbs
reaching tendrils
spiraling…or unspiraling

Corkscrewing just like
our planet’s orbit
Flying through subterranean space
Making life
out of barren desert
and death
