Wildcrafting expedition and autumnal honoring
🍁🍂
As the leaves and sunshine turn a deeper gold, let us celebrate the fruits and beauty of this harvest time. We will wildcraft juniper berries and leaves – a multi-faceted and delicious food and medicine – by mountain streams and amidst whispering aspen leaves.
We will deep dive into juniper, the ethics of wildcrafting, and these wildlands who offer so much solace, kinship, and medicine.

Wildcraft + tincture making + fire ceremony

Celebrating the solstice, we will gather motherwort, make a tincture to take home, sip seasonal brews, and handcraft offerings for a fire ceremony where we will share song and story, kindling our love of this place, this season, and the joy of circling together.
About this path

If you long…
❖
༄ to get to know the land beneath your feet
༄ to meet the plants with your own hands
༄ to live in seasonal rhythm
༄ to rekindle lost skills
༄ to rewild kinship with the living world
༄ to gather in community
Then let us walk together.
Let us remember that we too belong to this place.
In circle – on the land and at the hearth – let us befriend and re-member our wise & wild nature.
Wildcraft • Song • Kitchen Witchery • Craft • Medicine Making • Reciprocity • Ritual
❖
Please note: This is not an herbal training or certification. While we will work with plants to make tangible medicines (+ foods, balms, offerings, songs, ritual crafts), the real medicine we will make is reconnection with our earthly ways. This immersion will not completely fill our medicine chests: but it will rekindle our capacity to while reminding us that we are the medicine.
Re-weaving our world whole
Our ancestors knew how to befriend the land around them. Their lives depended on it. Perhaps ours actually do too.
In taking time to practice + develop + remember these skills, we are re-weaving our connection with the lands we call home, and strengthening the gifts we can offer our community and families.
Though most of us may not have the time to make all our own foods and medicines from scratch (+ songs and crafts…), rekindling our capacity for these skills is also a practice of restoring and rewilding our humanness, of re-making soul.
Beyond the skills, it is the kind of relationship we will cultivate – with all the living world – that will allow us to someday become worthy ancestors.
Or at least to leave the world a little more cared for than we found it.

If you love the beauty of this earth, but don’t know where to begin making relationship with it,
If you want to make friends with your more-than-human kin – the plants & animals & soils & stones – and feel at home among them,
If you want to welcome the wild into your own life and home,
You are welcome on this pathway of remembrance
“Thank you, thank you! What a perfect way to celebrate Solstice! I felt connected through the whole process both with nature and community! ❤️”
Why medicine makers?
Are we not also beauty makers? Magic makers? Joy makers?
(Yes, these are all forms of medicine too!)
So much beauty remains, but we are also in an age when there has been too much harm, distress, and damage – to both the human and more-than-human worlds.
It is time to apply medicine, to heal the wounds that civilization has wrought upon the earth … as well as upon our tender human hearts.
What soothing balms, curative elixirs, stimulating antidotes might we find, concoct, and apply … to both our bodies and our lives?
It is time to become the medicine.

About me
For all my time publicly as a ‘performer,’ behind the scenes what has most captivated me all along is my relationship with the land. Everywhere I go, I befriend the soils, the birds, the plants…
I am never more at home than while wildcrafting or medicine-making.
Mama Gaia has long been my primary teacher, and with her wisdom and inspiration as my guide, I am now excited to share my medicine path with you…
