THE EMBODIED DREAM

Becoming Living Myth

A dream circle for wild souls

There is power in dreams shared in circle – in the glint we receive in another’s eye, or the echoes that stir in someone else’s telling… An emergent wisdom rises, sparkling between us, woven on threads of shared story.

These circles will not be places where we “figure it all out,” though we will surely find and make meaning. The styles of dreamwork I have trained in and developed over the past 30+ years are less about interpretation than they are about becoming living myth.

We will embrace the dream world as a personal and collective wellspring of embodied wisdom.

These also won’t be places where we “fix [sh]it.” We gather to reanimate our living relationship with soul, letting a deeper intelligence seep into our bones.

What’s at stake?

The world doesn’t need us merely well-adjusted to society’s forms. It needs people whose creativity – and whose capacity for paradox, instinct, nonsense, and all the feelings – is still alive.

What humanity has in these times is a crisis of imagination. And where better to start reawakening – nay, remembering – this already living creativity than in the very stories writing themselves through our bones every. single. night?

This is dreamwork for the trembling brave – which is to say, those of us who quiver in our skins and dive in anyway…

Who is this for?

…those whose bones ache for meaning

…those who want to reclaim their instinctive truth – a voice older than words

…those who have stopped dreaming and feel the absence

…those who are drowning in dreams and don’t know what to do with them

…those who feel stuck in the same dream (asleep or waking)

…those who long to be changed by their dreams, not just interpret them

…those who want to befriend the wild myth beneath their skin

…those who could use more incentive to get good sleep!

A note from the edge…

Some of my dream practices may be unconventional. And if it matters to you: I’m not ‘certified’ in any conventional sense. But I am a lifelong dreamworker whose own practices have branched from some already wild and strong roots such as Jungian and Gestalt dreamwork.

Raised by two dream therapists, I’ve been re-entering dreams since I was three – thanks to my mama, who guided me back into a nightmare that same night and helped me find a way through.…

Dreams I met when I was five or six still live inside me – not as memories, but as beloved beings who pour through me…shaping me…some days becoming me.

Such is the fertility of these dream beings, these facets and fragments of soul, these true stories of the breathing night…

I hold space gently and collaboratively, with attention to consent and curiosity – and always, the understanding that you are the only true authority of your own inner world.

FAQ

Do I need to have recent dreams?

Your dreams could be almost as old as you. Or from last night. All that matters is that the dreams you share feel alive for you and awaken your curiosity.

Does each dream have to feel significant?

All dreams are portals, and even the most insignificant-seeming ones can unveil profound truths and intriguing mysteries.

Even a dream that feels dull can reveal a bright secret.

What if I only remember dream fragments?

Even a single image, or even the residue of a feeling, can be fertile dream soil to work with. So don’t worry if you don’t feel like you have “complete” stories to share.

Dream snippets are threads – when we begin pulling on them, they often unravel more of the tangled tapestry than we knew was even there.

Do I need to write my dreams down?

Writing our dreams can not only help us remember them, but sometimes evokes meaning or resonance simply in this first stage or retelling.

So yes, writing our dreams is encouraged. With time, the practice of writing (or painting, or poetry…) builds a bridge to the dreamworld, so the dreams begin arriving more vividly, more frequently, and more alive.

What if I'm shy to share my dreams in circle?
I hope you will take the risk.
Cultivating bravery is part of the practice. And hopefully we as a collective will cultivate the trust worthy of that daring.

To protect the intimacy of the space, we’ll all agree to keep what’s shared in the circle confidential

And you’re welcome to reach out to Ariana for private session dreamwork.

Do I have to share everything?

Not at all.
You’re welcome to simply listen, or share parts of dreams when they feel ripe. This isn’t performance – it’s invitation. Sometimes just being in the field of dreaming is enough to awaken something.

Consent, pacing, and personal rhythm are honored here.

Is this therapy?

No, and it doesn’t try to be.
While this work may feel healing, it is not designed to diagnose or treat anything. This is dream-as-medicine, not dream-as-symptom. It’s soulwork. Mythwork. Embodied imagination.

If you’re currently navigating acute trauma or mental health challenges, consider bringing this work alongside a trusted therapeutic container.
